LEGAL OBLIGATIONS. - Decree Law 130/89
Under the above legislation introduced in Portugal, all timeshare companies are now required to comply with the above law, which includes the following minimum standards.
1. Service of apartments (including building maintenance, essential repairs, use of water, gas, and electricity etc).
2. Transfer of use of the apartment.
3. Insurance cover in the event of part/complete damage by fire.
4. Arbitration procedures in the event of disputes.
NOTE: Why are we paying extra to rent the safe in the appartment, we have already paid for it?
